Man did he travel a ways before hitting the trees. I loved how fast the instructor bailed out too.

 

That was at CMP. there are a few stories about this. the one that seems to be the most popular is that this guys was trying to learning how to heal and toe. (that should be done on the street, not the track) when he got into the brake zone he he used the clutch instead of the brakes. He did make it all the pond on the other side of the tire walls.
