I'm doing a DE at Road Atlanta with NASA, I've read there site and I'm not sure about the pre inspection, are you supposed to do it yourself or do you have to take the car to a shop? Thanks.

 

In my region, I am permitted to do the pre-inspection myself.

I just went to the NASA DE at Thunder Hill in California. If your car is not modified, stock saftey equipment such as seat belts then you can go to any BAR certified auto shop. If you have modified your saftey equipment such as added a roll cage or harness you will need to go to an approved race shop. They are listed by area code on the NASA web site.
