Anybody in the NE area who is considering or wants to do a track day at Limerock please consider this date. I talked with the club president yesterday and they only have about 30 people signed up to do this event. That is absolutely unheard of for a LRP track day and will offer a ton of track time for an entrant. They may just end up running open track all day with this few people coming...

Unfortunately the economy is still hitting some people hard.....Kojote had to cancel their Sept. date @ WGI due to low numbers. Bummer--that's a GREAT event.

I'm killing the pain by going to Mosport instead....

Believe me, I know it and am grateful.....I'd also be grateful for a dry day @ Mosport; it rained so hard at WGI last Monday the the wipers were hard-pressed to keep up. Had to take some pretty goofy lines to avoid all the standing water..... One thing that I have found out with all this wet track time is that RE11s mounted inside-out have little or no effect on their wet grip that I can tell--I know they "strongly recommend" that you don't do it but with having the stock suspension with virtually no front camber I'm not going to toss half-worn tires.
