Ok, I'll add mine... (Don't laugh too hard)

Conditions: 75 dgrees / 60% Humidity

Car Specs: 2003 S, 98,000 miles , DDM HDI, 15% pulley, Invidia Cat-Back, Denso plugs, 17" S-Lites, and weight reductions (2810 lbs = Car, 3/4 tank of gas, and driver)

First Run - Launched @ 3000 RPM and almost killed it.... (DSC off)

R/T - .284
60" - 2.692
330 - 6.992
1/8 - 10.399
MPH - 71.82
1000 - 13.341
1/4 - 15.794
MPH - 91.16

Second Run - Lauched at 4000-4500 RPM (forgot to turn DSC off...)

R/T - .452
60" - 2.344
330 - 6.565
1/8 - 9.994
MPH - 71.47
1000 - 12.941
1/4 - 15.390
MPH - 91.97

I only put 2 passes in tonight, and this was my 2nd time on a track (First time for the MINI). I also plan on going back when it's a little bit cooler outside and see what that difference makes.

Wow with all those mods I was expecting to see much better times than you posted. But I guess a run with dsc on is pretty pointless. Would a Intake and a good launch be able to get me into the 9 second range? Im pretty close at 10.163. Or does it just not make enough of a difference?

The "good" launch is everything. I have a none "S" MINI ( never drag raced it ) but have run old and newer mustangs and motorcycles. My experience is leave at upper half of rpm range and ride/slip the clutch. 1 to keep from spinning tires ( A little spin is good though ) and 2 to keep it from bogging down, You have it just right when you have the clutch out and your RPM's don't drop you just keep going faster from there. Not the best thing for your clutch, but just dumping it isn't healthy either.. Every little bit you pick up on your 60' time will be even more at the end..

Sounds like its time for a tune!!! Your times are pretty good considering you had alot of weight in the car. I ran my car with less than a quarter tank and everything taken out.
I was thinking for freezing the intercooler with a co2 tank from a paintball gun. Any reason I shouldnt do that? Possibly damaging to the car in any way?

not at all, I plan on taking a 3.5 oz tank with a on/off and spraying that bad boy before my run. just do it with the car off, so you dont kill it with the co2.

Does the ECU software vary that much to possibly not be helping my car? I though I read somewhere on here that v40 or something from the dealership had a tendency to help the car run better. I haven't been to the dealership since I bought my '03 late in '05. I have no clue what software version I'm currently running...:impatient Is there any way to tell?

?? How could it kill the car if it's just spraying on the intercooler? It wouldn't acually go into the motor, right?

This would give me a good reason to use the $210 bottle I bought for a paintgun I don't use...

It IS ok to laugh at me for this:

I went up to the track a couple weeks ago here in Oregon (Portland International Raceway) with my '03 MCS, 15% pulley, steel-mesh cone, stock s-lites and runflats, 36 psi..

First off I hadn't been to the track in years, so I rolled up there in shorts and sandals, then straight to GI-Joes to buy a pair of pants/socks/shoes before they'd let me run (grrr)..

This was my first and best run, not the best reaction and bad 60' on my part because I'm still learning the car.

I hit the rev limiter in 2nd, then again in 3rd, then I stood on the brakes at the wrong line.... Go ME! I also had just installed my boost gauge.. and the line leading to it came off the T fitting during this run..

R/T: .478
60': 2.733
1/8: 10.507
mph: 69.96
1/4: 15.999
mph: 90.37

So nothing went well for me but I had a blast... I was the only Mini running, there was only one other there, from the local PDXMini club, but he was just watching.

Next time will be much better...

It wont go into the motor unless you get it near the intake. I hope you arnt going to put c02 into a compressed air tank! (it will ruin your reg) cause if you paid $210 for a c02 tank, you got RIPPED!

No, it's a Nitrous bottle, but can hold CO2...4500PSI 68cc I believe (can't remember)

No it really cant hold c02. you will ruin your perfectly good tank if you fill it. trust me I have been playing paintball for 16 years, I know. in fact if you look at the label it will most likely say, do not fill with c02. just go buy a $20 12oz tank with a on/off valve.

heres a 20oz with on/off for $24:

Went down to the track again to see If my alta Cai made any difference. Wanted to run in the nines. Ran a 10.0069 on half a tank of gas and a ten pound bag of ice in the car. That was my first and best run lol icing the intercooler didnt help me much.
