Used this product yesterday for the first time.......

Shipping was expensive, I thought I bit over the top, though it did come just a day or two after I ordered it from the website.

Takes a while to load the "tip" for the first time. 5-10 minutes.

Once loaded, it worked better than anything else I have ever tried. It produces just the right amount of paint. I used it on the front end of my British Racing Green MINI Coooper. Excellent color match. I must have filled at least 20 nicks, this product makes it very easy to do a lot in a short period of time. No drips, blobs, etc. It really does work as well as they say it does.

My ONLY complaint besides the cost of the shipping is that the paint has a very little shine to it, so depending on how the sun catches the paint in the light, you will notice lots of little "flat" spots in bright sunlight. (At least you will with a dark color). I think I will order the clearcoat stick. In the shade you don't notice this at all.

Hope this info helps. No connection to the company and all that.

Received mine today. Came via the .80cent shipping option
I can't tell you how great this pen is. The tip loaded up in about 10 seconds and the chili red is a perfect match. I have the aero kit on my S and the front bumper looked like hell after this past winter. You can hardly tell it had any chips and nicks.
I did have one long scratch on the rear 1/4 panel that didn't come out so great. I think this was due to my own inexperience in using the pen.
Beware: the paint goes a LONG way. Don't load up the tip too much.
A great product. Every glove box should have one.

This product sounds awesome. Has anyone tried it on their white wheels? And what color # would you use? The same as the white roof?

I hate to sprinkle on the parade, but I bought the pen and wasn't all that impressed with the results.

I had a small (1/5 the size of a dime) rock ship below my bumper and used the pen as directed. Everytime someone looks closely at my MINI for the first time, they invariably reach out to rub a finger over the spot because it's pretty visible.

The Postal Service will assign a tracking number to any mailpiece for about 80 cents extra. It's called Delivery Confirmation. This is not a substitute for insurance, however, which is also an option, but will probably cost another buck or two. I wouldn't worry about insuring an item that doesn't have much value.

I got the pen several weeks ago, fixed two small places where some rock poped up and made a few little ding's on the bonnett, about the size of the end of a ink pen, I know its their, and you can kind of feel it, but step back about a foot and you can not see anything. its worth the money for me, i am even using the pen on an older modle black jeep

I got mine a week ago and love it. Fills up the chip real nice, no mess like with a brush. Who the hell thought of those horrible nail polish brushes anyway? Great product, worth every cent.

Does the #382 pen also match the white wheels?

James
