Great Product

I wanted to share my views on a product that I bought at the dragon and just realized how good it has worked. It isn't often that something lives up to it's claims. I was showing a pal the motor on my car and noticed how clean it has stayed since I bathed it after the dragon. The caps that I put in the hole at the top of the shock dampers have kept the under bonnet spot on. I purchased them from American Mini Mates. I also purchased their detailing dvd and really learned how keep my little ride looking goooood. Just wanted to tell "you all" about my find.
Cheers,
Lady Di

Link Information

The web site that has the damper hole covers is www.americanminimates.com . I just ordered a tri flag badge for my boot. They have some stuff I haven't seen before.
Cheers,
Di

You mean these, right?

from: http://www.americanminimates.com/misc.html (second item)...

I was actually wondering about these. have you ever checked under the covers? I had a concern that the cover might prohibit the tower well from drying properly and might perhaps cause rust. I guesss you could always clean it out under the cap really well and treat the area with WD40 every three months or something, but I figured that the designers kept that area open to the engine heat for a reason... I never considered that capping it might keep moisture from splashuing up into the engine bay - really?

Thanks for the "Mini" review.

It Looks OK To Us

I had a mate take one of the covers off and it looked spot on to me, he said he didn't see anything out of the ordinary. You blokes worry too much. My friend Lady Jane just installed them on her cabrio, I will check her's out tomorrow.
Cheers,
Ladidi

Mod with best bang for the $$$

Got a set at the Dragon and I can not believe how clean the engine bay has remained. Absolute wonder.
