De-Linting a convertible roof?

I mistakenly used a new cotton mitt when cleaning my top which left a ton of white 'lint' all over the car. Trying to remove it with a wet towel did ok. Any other suggestions?

I use a lint roller. It is quick, easy and effective at getting the lint off the top.

Ditto - that's what I use too when needed. Seems to work pretty good..

Lessons learned...never use a mitt on the cloth top.

For washing dirt out of the top use a soft body brush. They have long flagged bristles and are very soft. (flagging is a splitting of the fibers at the ends) This is different, much softer, than upholstery or tire brushes.

For drying a soft top use a synthetic chamois. Something like the Absorber does not lint and workg great.
