Detailing process - anything else to add to it?
Better ask before I do something stupid tomorrow. Anyway, the usual story - MCS gets neglected (weekly wash and Quik Detailer along the way) and have lots of nasty swirl marks around the place. Not too many bonded debris on the paint itself but was 9 months ago that it was claybarred. This is what I planned:
* Wash it twice with NXT
* Claybar
* ScratchX
* Meguiars Paint Cleaner (do I need this?)
* P21s polish (do I really need this?)
* Klasse sealant
Have I missed anything? Given I won't be using a powertool at all (I don't trust myself with one) can I expect it to be completely swirl-free or there's going to be something left? The swirl is on par with the Porsche that Richard/OctaneGuy detailed before.
Also with the plastic trims around the car, what's the most effective way to clean it? There's some dirt stock to it and doesn't seem to wanna come off at all.
Thanks
