Scratched glass

Some #%*@ keyed my rear window of my Cooper S in my driveway last night. Is there anything that can be done to minimize the scratch (I realize that it isn't going to go away). I'd like to lessen the reminder of the little bastardino every time I look in the rear view.

I never tried, but I remember reading on a car forum somewhere that toothpaste does wonders on glass / cd / dvd scratches.

Pros in a glass shop can polish it out.
There are kits on the internet for this, but I would not recommend you try yourself unless you have done it before. A pro likely would not charge much.
Any good auto glass shop can do this.
