Gray Headliner Protection?
Gray Headliner Protection?
My first windows down season with my MCS is approaching, and I have noted some of the threads about the gray headliner getting dirty.
Has anyone tried 303 Fabric Guard on their headliner or can you suggest some other brand of protective product?
And please don't say keep the windows up and the AC on.

As with any chemicals like this just be sure to use it carefully, correctly, and reduce your exposure to inhaling it:

As their own doc states "Chronic exposure may lead to central nervous system complications, blood changes (aplastic anemia, a rare occurrence that is potentially fatal), and dermatitis. Animal studies have indicated the potential for liver and kidney damage."
Do whatever you want of course, but I'd rather err on the side of caution and am wary of spraying stuff that I'd be subject to inhaling inside a small enclosed space like a car; just thought I'd look up and point you to their Material Safety Data Sheet in case you were interested.
All products fwiw: http://www.303products.com/tech/inde...category_ID=18
PS: If it were me I'd leave it and just deal with any dirt as it happens. Scotch tape is good for lifting dirt off of the light headliner by the way - works great as long as its not a stain.

Wonder if that new car smell has a MSDS.

Well, since you mention it:

I'm not paranoid about the issue, really, just try to be intelligent about it and have the info.
