Question for the group. I'm interested in obtaining a couple of the enamel grill badges that Moss Mini has on their site. Has anyone installed them? What parts are required? I see in the list of badges a "badge bar clip" and a "badge mounting plate". Are both of these required for each badge?

Help appreciated.

I installed a badge on the left side of my grill.
Most of them have two attachments on back
and a backing plate with 2 nuts. I drilled two holes
in the black plastic on the side of the grill so as
not to obstruct airflow to the engine and then
tightened the nuts with the attachment with the hood up.
Then I clipped off the end of the attachment shafts so
the hood can close. I have made this sound way more
complicated then it is but I don't believe putting things
in front of the opening in the grill, be they badges or
lights, is a good idea. I think it creates hot spots in
the radiator. IMHO.

I've seen badges installed on the lower radiator opening, in the air dam, it looked good there. I might put two down there too. The badges can be installed without the bar as stated in other posts.

Something to keep in mind regarding the badge. The Moss site has a badge that is a Union Jack and it says "England" underneath it. For authenticity sake, it should say either "United Kingdom" or "Great Britain" for obvious reasons. My sister is married and lives in London and I asked my brother-in-law about that and he told me that it was wrong. If you get a badge...make sure it's accurate in its representation.

I saw a Cooper go by this week with the badge mounted over the lower grill in the towing eye. Does anyone know where this badge holder can be purchased? Thanks
