I woke up the other morning to find that the car cover on my Mini had blown off during the night. I went to go put it back on only to find that it flipped over underneath a tree. Upon closer inspection, I found that the lovely little birdies decided to take their morning dump on the underside of my car cover. I have a universal fit weatherproof cover. Is there any way I can clean this? The whole car cover is generally dirty. I wish I could just stick it in the washing machine. Any advice???

Thanks!

Hose it off and brush it gingerly.
You might be able to wash it in a triple loader at the laundrymat. Using NO soap and cold water only. Hang it out to dry.
Dang birdies!!!

Motor On!!

Depending on the material (Kimberly Clark makes the Evolution 4, NOAH and Dustop materials), most cover makers recommend a cup of fantastic in a large commercial washer (the type without an agitator), cold water and letting it air dry.

Using a dryer will destroy the cover from the heat.
