Go with a sealant. Zaino, Menzerna PowerLok or something similar. 4-6 months of protection at minimal cost.

I'm not a chemist, nor did I stay at Holiday Inn last night but I think Zaino, Menzerna etc. are polymer sealants and not ceramic. I have no experience with the ceramics but do know they will push you to a significantly higher price point. The aforementioned polymer sealants are good enough for me, and greatly outperform conventional waxes at not much increase in cost.

Has the paint gassed out? If not, I don't know that I'd seal it just yet.
