JCW badge

Im experiencing issues with the red of my JCW badge on the tailgate pealing. whats the best way to fill it with red again that wont come off?
I tried artist paint with a very fine brush but it comes off after a few washes

Maybe try clearing the whole thing afterwards. And good prep prior is essential.

Take it to the dealer if it's under warranty, they should replace it

Assuming you have an R53 (based on your username), we offer this badge at 15% off list price if you would like a replacement:

Same here, haven't tried repainting. I wonder if dealers are authorized to replace them free? Seems like they must have been defective if the paint can be washed off, ffs.

@MINIParts, love your car salesman-ey "15% off". Just quote the price: $64.

That's for both front and rear, right? Cuz if it's for one and the paint can wash off then it's way too much.
