My wife got ink from a ball point pen on my headliner Don't even ask

It was about 3 inches long right above the front passenger seat.


I got some 303 carpet and upholstry cleaner to try to clean it with.


I first tried it ot on her new white dress. No, just kidding. I tried it out on a white sock, mine of course.

First, sprayed the spot and let it sit for about 3 minutes. Then with clean 100% made in USA terry cloth gently blotted it. No smearing or streaking. one more light spray and 3 minutes later gentle rubbing got it completely out.



There was a bit of a noticable area where the headliner was still damp. If you look carefully you can see it in this pic. 10 minutes later it was dry and I brushed off any residue. Stain is now completely gone.

303 is great stuff.

Well the product may be could,but the fact that you blotted it off and did not
rub is probably the real lesson here
