Wheel well slush removal / winter cleaning

So it snowed in Denver last night and my poor Rudy is all dirty
and plenty of the road crud/slush has built up in the wheel wells. Anyone have some good tips on how to keep my car looking somewhat clean and getting rid of the build up of slush? Thanks in advance!

Easiest way is to a power washer. You don't have to go crazy and hold the nozzle an inch away from the fender well, just get it close enough to take off the slush. Afraid of or don't have a power washer? Jack up each corner, remove the wheel, and use a brush.
Slide an oscillating lawn sprinkler under each corner and let it use lower pressure to lift and remove the crud. I do this each spring, but it should work in winter, too, if you have access to a hose & sprinkler.
This will only work in some markets. I believe where he is located, the weather is below freezing for extended periods of time and water will not flow through a hose since it would be long frozen.
Sorry that I didn't see this thread before starting a similar thread about salt buildup. I have to use a nearby power sprayer, but there's places up under the engine and front wheels I can't seem to get in time to stop rust. We too have no home hose options for many winter months, but that sprinkler option sounds good!
