what is interior surface seven?

Hi ya! Just got a 'new' Mini Cooper (2006). The description on the dealer's listing says "interior surface seven". What is that? Are they the six circles that are above the glove compartment??? ick! OR do those circles 'do' something??? I can't believe the previous owner would spend $200 EXTRA for those. (is that rude to say)?

Also, the description of the car said it has Bluetooth. How would I know, outside of the phone button on the steering wheel? I don't see any documentation regarding the Bluetooth on anything that was sent.

Background: Bought the car, sight unseen, from a dealer in NJ and they shipped it to me in western NY on Thursday. ($12k for Mini w/36000 miles, heated seats, dual sunroofs, cruise...)Two hours later, brought it to a Mini dealer in town to add some racing stripes...picked the car up 2 min. before the dealer was going to close. So I didn't have a chance to ask them questions. Any info you might have would be awesome!

"Seven" was a package that included black trim pieces (instead of standard gray or silver) on the dash and door, and different pattern on the seats. And those circles on the dash.

You should ask the selling dealer about the bluetooth. It might be aftermarket. The 2006 OEM bluetooth was extremely expensive (over $1000) and almost nobody has it. The phone button is no indication of bluetooth. The steering wheel spoke with radio controls includes a phone button whether or not the car actually has bluetooth.

Even though the phone button was on the wheel in first gen cars, the bluetooth option had controls mounted on the left center stack downtube. It looked like a little garage door opener transmitter with the phone symbols on it.

I forgot that there were two Bluetooth options. The expensive one integrates with the steering wheel buttons and the Nav screen (if the car has Nav).

The other option doesn't integrate with the steering wheel, and uses a control box that hangs off the center console. It wasn't popular because there were better aftermarket solutions.
