White haze on rubber floor mats
White haze on rubber floor mats
Are there any tips for removing this haze. They are the original mats in my 2005. Should I just up it for some new mats? I would rather clean them and save the $ but don't know if such a thing is possible...
What do you use to clean them now?
How about some pics to see what the haze looks like?
I've always used straight Simple Green on any rubber floor mats I've had, it always worked for me. Spray it on, let it sit for a little bit, maybe use a little brush, rinse it off.
I had rubber mats in a work truck that I tracked some nasty, nasty stuff on every day, and they always came clean when it got its sunday bath.

I uusually just spray simple green on them, agitate with a brush on the nastier parts, hose off, let dry and then dress with either 303 Aerospace or Prima Nero. I think the white spots you're referring to are just from the black fading and Nero or the 303 stuff will help bring back the color.
