Sent an email to Prima (Nick) with a Hydro question

Question to Nick@Prima

"Hi Nick,

I am ready to wash. Bit confused about the proper order. After the Hydro
wash do I Hydro then Hydro Seal or, do I Hydro Seal then Hydro?
I'm guessing Hydro before the Seal because hydro is applied on a wet surface right after the wash."

The Response Email from Nick@Prima

"Hi Chiaki,

You go do either, but there is no benefit to applying Hydro before Hydro
Seal.

I would wash with Hydro Wash
Apply Hydro Seal
Use Hydro as my maintenance product going forward.

Nick"

What I did was:

1. Hydro Wash to prep the car.
2. Hydro Seal which should last for months.
3. Hydro after every wash as a kind of enhancer and another level of protection.

I've been using Hydro for years. It makes drying the car a lot easier too.

How much Hydro do you guys use when drying the car? I tried some last weekend, and it was great, but I used 2/3 of a bottle just doing my MCS and my wife's Camry. Is that normal or am I using way too much?

I have completed a hydro seal application on both my Mini and my Range Rover, and I have about 2/3 of the bottle remaining. I think you might be going on a little heavy.

Are you talking about Hydro Seal or just regular spray-on Hydro? I was using just the Hydro after using Hydro Wash to wash it.

I think you are using quite a bit. I usually just do one or two sprays per panel. Like most Prima products, a little goes a long way.

That's too much. I use about 1/2 of a squirt of Hydro per panel. A little bit goes a long way.

Ok, I'll take it easy next time. It really is a great product, the MCS looks awesome, both from the Hydro and the Clarity I used on the windows.
