Does anyone know how to remove scratches from the black plastic A pillar? My car cover and high wind caused the damage. I think this part in question is called a A pillar. It's the part that runs from the bonnet up to the roof on both sides of the wind shield.

A good coat of wax should do the trick!

If there's one area on the MINI that drives me up the wall, it's this very fragile A-pillar trim! If you breathe on it, it'll scratch itself!

What I've found works well, is a delicate appilcation of Zymol Cleaner Wax, and then many many coats of (insert favorite wax here, I prefer Zaino)

If you get your windshield replaced often enough then the plastic clips will fatigue and the trim piece will fly off the car when you're at highway speed. Then you can replace them with new pieces.
