I have a few tiny little paint chips. Who makes the best touch up paint. My MINI is pure silver

There are several places where you can order touch-up paint. But "the best" is probably from MINI. I ordered some from out local dealer. It comes with a vial of clear coat as well.

Ofioliti is right. The best touch up paint is from MINI, however it's kind of expensive for a small bottle. When I had some paint work done on my car a while back, the painter gave me a bottle of the paint to use for touch ups.

I have used Dr. Color chip in the past and got great color match and easy fix with little or no experience required to make a very nice repair for minor nicks and scratches. Good luck.

I've used MINI paint and custom-mix from a paint shop. Both work well. After the entire front of my car was repainted because of a bumper replacement, I had the 3M Clear Bra installed. I don't have one rock chip yet after a couple thousand miles. Between bugs and chips, it's worth the $400 IMO.

define 'best'

over the years I've bought plenty of t/up from the dealers

and plenty as well from DUPLICOLOR at the part store

today I buy mine from
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/auto_paint.asp

from them I've bought spray cans, bottles and pens

which method of application is better?

a very good question

IMHO - it depends . . .

some t/up is one step

some is base/clear

know the difference?

does it matter to mix and match?

what's on yur car?

inquiring minds want to know . . .

you'll get plenty of opinions here

occasionally one with full knowledge behind it too . . .

most people are very unreceptive to a resolution until they recognize that a problem actually exists.
