PaintScratch.com ?

Has anyone ordered from PaintScratch.com before? Experiences?

I want to paint the black side scuttle carriers white to match my white roof/mirrors.
I have a friend that can spray it for me, so I was thinking that the 2oz bottle kit should be enough. Agree?

Since this is plastic, do I need to do anything other than paint with the primer first?

Will I need the rubbing compound or acrylic lacquer thinner included in the kits?

2 oz. Paint Kit
Useage==>Enough paint to spray around 2 square feet (Spray equipment required).
Qty Description Cost
1 2 oz. Basecoat Bottle 18.95
1 2 oz. Clearcoat Bottle 9.95
1 2.5 oz. Rubbing Compound Bottle 3.75
1 2 oz. Acrylic Lacquer Thinner 1.95
Total (before shipping) 34.60

ps. what about their paint pens? my bonnet does have some chips...

If you are going to paint the black plastic that has never been painted before I would highly recommend some kind of adheasion promoter to apply once you have cleaned the pieces to be painted.

it would be more matte then, right? not glossy?

I did paint the stock scuttles white with just plain spray paint as a test to see how I liked the white. I wanted to do the real ones right.
