lounge seat problem

i recently bought a set of lounge seats from a totaled jcw. the problem with them is...when bright light beams on the seats..you see a layer of transparent white residue on it..not the usual dark gloss color. also..the side piping's turned to a vanilla/ivory white...its not white white..is there anything i can do to make it white again??

and any recommendations on leather conditioner and cleaners?? thanks

Hi I would say try using Leatherique restoration oil, which forces dirt and other crap out of the leather. Afterwards then use Leatherique Prestine Clean. I heard miracle stories with this stuff. It may take time, some applications people use the oil and let it sit in the warmth of the car for hours.

As for the piping, are you sure they were ever white white?
Mine are ivory, as are the door panel arm rests.
