The price of lazy

Being competely OCD about my (black) Mini, I always wash it by hand in the garage of my condo. Even with work lights the conditions in the winter are cold and dark. Today I relented to the terrible road conditions and used an automated car wash (not brushless). Result? Scratches of every kind. Looks like my buffer and I have a date for tomorrow morning.

A friend of mine put me onto Zaino.....awesome product. And the more you use it the deeper the shine becomes.

I use a menerza two or three step process with a flex orbital. Right now my wax of choice is DoJo purple (not it's real name). It just amazes me how much damage a car wash can do in 3 minutes.
