if i ever get a MINI again, i'd just paint the arches using some matte black paint.

much easier to maintain. just use Hydro.

i even recommend using Duplicolor's engine enamel paint. you'll be like but i use this stuff on the plastic bezel around my fog lamps on my FitS. i has ZERO chips even after harsh salt/snow/ice winter. this stuff is super hard after it dries.

Yes, let's get back to the topic of exterior trim products.

I was just trying to find out if I was the only person with a MINI that put some kind of product on the plastic arches on the outside of the car.

no, i think you are like the only person that doesn't use BlackWow on their arch.

give it a shot. anything better than BW would be to seriously paint the arches matte black.

When it comes to OCD you would be hard pressed to be "the only one" in this group of hooligans!

To put in my $.02

I have a supply of Mothers Back to Black that I use for the wheel arches and around the roof trim. Works well, lasts a while. I plan to go to Black Wow when depleted

I got turned onto the Zaino wheel dressing by MINIMAYBEE and it rocks. Great matte finsih. Lasts 2-3 washings/rainstorms.

On the inside NERO is awesome. Tried it outside and as previously noted it washes off quickly, looks great, but quickly gone

Personally I prefer the PRIMA for paint but that another discussion

again since it's water based your radiator's fine, i think. it'll just wash off during your next wash.

参考になったかにゃ?
そうなんですよー。相談が必要な時に、けんちゃんに聞く事は当たり前じゃん

Thanks for the 50/50 trick. Maybe I can do that with the zaino tire dressing and use it on the grill… as mentioned by tgs91, the thing lasts quite a while and I like its flat look.

Tomorrow morning I'm having 3 hours totally free, so i'm gonna give the MINI a little bath, and perhaps a polishing session on the roof, followed by Epic… while the Epic cures, I'll do the grill

If it lasts that long it might be silicon based... Which means it might not mix well with mizu.

Ah. そっか。。。

good point…

uhm then I'll try to use it sparingly in non-diluted form, just to see how that goes… then perhaps better to put some kind of protection behind the grillですね

LJ Nero is great to use on Leatherette...personally I like 303 better, but Nero is fine to use...I keep my seats looking Brand New by using either one depending what I've grabbed to detail the interior.

Molly got a nice bath tonight, she's going in to have her Front Brakes done in the AM. I wanted to give her a good exterior cleaning, I washed with Ice, Hydro'd Dry, Nero'd the Black Trim...still beading from a BW appl. a few months ago, Slick'd the Wheels, Meguire's Hot Shine the Tires, Clarity'd the Windows.

She's going back to the Dealership L@@KING better than when we first brought her home!!
