The Mrs. helps with washing and detailing ??

Most definitely a KEEPER !!

Although my other half knows... if she offers (ha!), I'll reject the offer because I'm so friggin picky about the way it's done. Although hey, if she offers to vacuum the interior of the one she drives, I'd let her !

Now, to the question. It's work. Some of it I enjoy, some of it I do not. But all of it is a labor of love.

Sweetie... I am the Mrs.

Hubby would gladly do it I think, but he finds it's a more efficient use of his time to leave me and the garage in peace.

It all depends on how much time I have. Seems like I always have a list of things to do, including detailing the MINI. I love making the MINI sparkle, but honestly, I live in MINI hell. Road sand left over from winter. Farms with mud & manure often on the roads (don't get me wrong--I'll take farms over the alternative. I'm just sayin's all...), highway crews doing chip & seal, rain with horrible nasty residue, you get my drift. Anyway, if my schedule is clear, I pretty much like the TLC for the MINI. If not, less so.

Oh, well hell, that explains it !!

If the Mrs owns the car, Hubby helps or does it all.

If Hubby bought the car for the Mrs., Hubby does it all.

Sounds fair.

I think your logic does apply to most couples, it's just that hubby and I break all the rules.

Sometimes rule-breaking is a good thing.

Over the last 30 years I have used all poducts on the market and a few professonal products / numatic buffers as well. For me it was a labor of love ...that is until a club member introduced me to this stuff, Zaino!.....

Works fantastic too because I have a full body decal kit on my MINI and this stuff doesn't bother the decal edges....after the initial applicatons of their product, just use their car wash and then just spritz with shine enhancer, and wipe off. Last practically forever, and they have stuff for the black plastic too.

I will never want to use anything else. http://www.zainostore.com/
