holes from front license plate holder
Short of replacing the bumper, does anyone have an idea how to fill these holes nicely? It looks like the dealer just screwed the plate holder straight into the bumper. I've got shreds of metal pointing everywhere.
Also, is it legal in CA to drive without the front plate?
Thanks!

Try a hardware store (Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace, etc). Look in the cabinet hardware section. Depending on the size of the hole, there should be various plastic plugs you can use. Just buy some touch up paint that matches your MINI from the dealer or Moss and paint the plugs.
And no.
Good luck.

First try the hardware store idea Sullivan'sDaddy mentioned as it could save you money.

But if you want the easy, yet costly way...try the website below to get the perfect color match and size for your bumper holes. But be aware that you may get stopped for not having front plates.
Go to BumperPlugs.com...http://www.geocities.com/esklut/plugs.html for more info.

I've used bumperplugs.com before, for a Boxster, and they do a great product.
Paint match is excellent, and the finished look is really good.
Seem to be doing all the MINI colours now too.
Worth the few extra $$ IMHO
Chris.
