My Nero Exploded... :(

This was a few months ago, in September actually because we had really hot temperatures then, but I had my little cubby of car care stuff in my MINI's boot because of a British Car Day event a few days prior. I open the boot a couple days later and found my Prima Nero exploded!! It was foamy and a weird consistency. I had the screw on top on the bottle but that was popped off and there was Nero EVERYWHERE in my boot. To this day, it still smells strongly of Nero.

I guess the most upsetting part was that I really liked the product after using it only once, and now there's barely a couple drops left. I got it from Coopersport in Canada and they've been less than helpful in fixing this (to be honest, they haven't responded to any of my 5 emails!).

There's nothing on the bottle about keeping it out of higher temperatures. And it was only about 25*C outside- hardly our hottest day.

Is this common? Or did I have a bad batch that doesn't like warm days??

I live in South Texas. My NERO has never exploded in a hot car, and the summers get to 110F here (43C)

Dr. Pepper does, though. Don't listen to Mythbusters.... though it happened in my last car, thank goodness!

Hmmm! Thanks for your response. Maybe it was just mine?? I'm just kinda sad about it because it was a pretty well full bottle and I was going through my detailing stuff to get it ready for spring (can you tell I hate winter? well not winter necessarily, but what the season does to my poor MINI!) and I remembered I meant to ask some other MINIacs about it..
