that's a good idea. i usually mix 50/50 simplegreen to tapwater and do a mist, mist some more on greasy areas, and just wipe off for the engine area.

then do a straight tap water mist and wipe. followed by
Prima Nero (50/50 with distilled water) to dress the plastic and rubber bits.
