I have not used Zaino; the numbering system confuses me much the same way Meguiar's does...however, I'm sure the products themselves are fine. It did seem to me to be a bit more time/labor intensive when I looked into it...a lot of layering.

I've used Prima products for almost 2 years now and am completely happy with them all.

I think it comes down to personal preference....(I thought I posted that in this thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=147753 but don't see it)...to me, imho, unless you are a professional car detailer, you can use either family of products or a combination of them.

For me, I have always used the PRIMA family and have no complaints. I have a friend that drives a vette, and he swears by Zaino. So, to each his own I think.

I've used the Zaino system and the Prima system and I'm sold on Prima. They have better polish as far as range of abrasiveness, better filler with Amigo and a glossier wax in Epic. Both systems last a very long time, but I think Epic is very good looking on dark colors and very easy to work with.
As far as other products, I use Nourish, Clarity, Nero and Slick along with Swirl, Cut, Amigo and Epic. Plus Zaino does not have a comparable product to Hydro and nothing close to Banana Gloss. I do still use Zaino's Z-16 for my tires though.
Either system will protect your paint, but for me Prima makes it look better than Zaino. BTW - I have no problem with Zaino's numbering system.
