Thanks EMC.GUY

next thing i want to try out is Finish on an orange pad with my GF's new Yaris. it has really really light swirls and i think that would be enought to remove those.

then some Friend on white pad at speed 5
and Epic on the Black pad.

If they are light why don't you try Swirl with the white pad or Finish witht he withe pad? DP stuff depends a lot on what pad are you using. I would use the less aggresive pad first. I've fixed kind of big swirls with the white pad and swirl alone, my orange pad is still new in its bag hahah haven't needed to go that agressive yet.

MAN THAT'S AWESOME. Mine was obviously neglected and needed quite a bit of work but from here on out it shouldn't be a problem. i'm going to work least aggressive to more but i'm figuring on working finish to the orange to see the result. i hope it only takes finish and white.

maybe i'll post that too!

Great results and pics, greengobln!!

It seems like you had fun experimenting. Experimenting is a great way to learn the products and pads... not to mention your paint and its idiosyncrasies.

Nice work!!

Well Heather i guess you are the perfect person for me to ask. What kind of results will finish on an Orange pad or White Pad yield for me on a Toyota Red? any educated guesses?

p.s. what do you think the backlash will be if i post a Yaris before and after on this website?

I didn't realize you could buff out Lexan plastic. aren't their doors made out of that?

i have to say the Yaris is well beyond any of the saturns i've been in.

Yep, my first rotary job was on a green Saturn. Just cause it's painted plastic doesn't mean you can't polish the paint. You remove the swirls from your MINI bumper cover don't you? lol.

But of course that was the ONLY Saturn, lol.

Seeing what you did with that Saturn got me comfortable with the idea of using a Roatry on another saturn. Worked okay, but my friends wants me to do the rest of the car now.
