Dirty tan rubber floor mats?

Hi All!
Does anyone know of a cleaning product that will clean the grime off the Mini tan rubber floor mats?? The more I try to clean them the worse they look(bummer).

Have you tried whitewall tire cleaner ? Make sure you throughly rinse and dry the mats before you put them back in the car.

I tired simply green, it usually cleans white walls well, but it just hasn't done anything :???:
