From the advice on this forum I'm considering scratchx to polish out some scratches/scuffs on the drivers side piano black door ring in my R56. I was wondering if anyone has tried this with success? I don't want to try to polish it to only make it worse, then have to pay 120 bucks plus installation to get the ring replaced.

if it's deep enough that your fingernail catches it scratchx is not
going to take it out completely. it'll make it look better though.
