Ahhh I see somebody hasn't been paying attention to me lately I am on a new carnauba kick as I recently discovered the most viscerally & visually amazing carnauba wax. I am doing my 1st longevity test of it now. Epic topped with 2 coats of Victoria Concours Red Wax (which is a carnauba with the most amazing smell that you apply with your hands & it left me with a deeper shine than my P21S). I applied it to the whole bonnet 2 weeks ago & it looked freaking amazing. If it doesn't rain this weekend I plan to do the same to the rest of the MINI

p.s... I always used Klasse polymer under my P21S, just finally gave Epic a try as my undercoat.

Okay, time to look like the total detailing n00b I am:

I thought that it was bad news to mix synthetics and carnaubas, or is it just that it's okay to put a carnauba over a synthetic, but not the other way around. Or maybe I'm just on the crack wagon again.

ding ding ding, you are mostly correct modnar, you cannot put a synthetic on top of a carnauba because the synthetic will not adhere but you can put a carnauba on top of a synthetic to get that extra POP of a shine Also using hydro over a carnauba is a waste of time because it will not adhere

Technically putting a synthetic over a carnauba won't hurt anything but it will wash off so it's kinda a waste of product & time

I had fun with Swissvax applying it with bare hands, but I don't think I had quite the experience you had!

Oh well... go ahead and file suit. I have nothing you'd want anyway.

You don't like Justacoopers nor do you like convertibles.

I can take it.

Why don't you do a seminar on this at MOTD?

It could be called the VERY Welcome Waxing Party...

You can take it just long enough to scrub all the bathrooms and kitchen and then give it back. What a deal, huh ??

Doesn't hurt to ask, right ?

Yeah... wishful thinking.
