The bottle of BW on the website looks like about 24oz. It's not until way down at the bottom that it say 4oz!
So I figured Ken's idea was on the money.
I was up-sold!

Remember that Black Wow is super-concentrated. One bottle for the average user should literally last years and years and years. A pea-sized drop is all you need to do an entire MINI.
In other words, 4oz of BW might as well be 24oz of most products!
That said, sorry if it looks deceiving with it's size on our website. We used to make everything proportional to actual size but then people complained because some things that were small were then too hard to see or read. So, many of our newer items look very large on the website. We always put volume or dimension information in the descriptions though. Hopefully it ends up being the best of both worlds that way.
sorry. I wasnt saying it was deceiving at all!! Just kinda funny how big the bottle looks.
I can't wait to get it!!

I agree... it is funny! In fact, there are a few other photos on our site which are disproportionate large to the point of being almost bizarre. We have to be careful... while appeasing customer requests (ie, larger photos) we do sometimes get a little carried away because it's sort of funny. Hey, you've got to laugh sometimes, right??
Just imagine if DP *did* offer Black Wow in the gallon size container...
$24.95 for 4 ounces.
64 ounces in a gallon.
16 bottles to make a gallon.
16 x $24.95 = $399.20 a gallon !!!!
And we complain about the price of gas. If Richard buys a small island a few years from now, I think we all should be able to claim partial ownership !
And worth every penny. When you INVENT a product that is SOOOO superior to the alternatives, you outta be able to make a little bit of profit margin on it.
And, given how long a bottle lasts, it really is a good value for the buyer.
I'll bet many folks would be surprised at what it costs to make a gallon of this stuff... I'm betting it has some pretty expensive ingredients... no question it costs LESS than $800/gallon to make... but I'll bet he has to make much larger batches (technically, have much larger batches made by the lab he pays to do it) which means a huge investment in ingredients... gotta sell a lot of little bottles to recover that initial investment...
Yeah, I'm sure... and anyone that knows me and my 5,800+ posts knows that I'm just messin' with Richard. Can't wait until he pops in here and gives me hell.
