Freshly epic'd

I decided to try some Prima Epic after reading the generally good reviews on this board. It's some pretty cool stuff! Previously, I had been an NXT user, and while not bad, I just wanted to try something new. The car is all shiny now, haha. Just wanted to share my positive impression.

I've got a "Let's Motor" rear plate frame

Sweet ! Lightning Blue has never looked better.

Makes me all and that mine are such a mess from the recent rain, cold weather, and achy back (and the fact two of them were in the shop today getting new tires installed).

Again, that's one MINI ! Nicely done.

Thanks!

I got a bit nervous as I was driving home from washing my car when a freak rain storm popped up. Luckily the fresh layer of wax made good work of any would-be water spots

I had the same depressing thoughts about my dirty Mini... so I braved the cold this afternoon and gave it a good washing, damn it looks good

Supposed to be a tad warmer here tomorrow and actually sunny. If the back cooperates, I'll have the babies all clean and shiny again. If not... I can live with them being dirty until next weekend.

Ha ! Who am I trying to kid ? I'll be out there washing them tomorrow even if it means another trip to the ER.

The sad thing is they'd only be for looks, but for some reason I really want that extra button. I think I've used my high beams once in the last four years.

I mentioned to my MA that I was lusting for them and he said "Sure, we could do that. It's just going to cost you more money. Or we could upgrade you to this M5 here. Again, just a little more money." I think he was advising showing some semblance of restraint.

When I ordered my car, my MA showed me the price installed and asked "you still sure you want them?" I still wanted them (always wanted a MINI with driving lights!) anyway.

Turns out, I got them for list price due to some circumstances with getting me my car, so I lucked out

I was show prices to have them installed at the VDC vs the dealer and it was almost $200 cheaper at the VDC. My car supposedly finished production yesterday, so if I can hold out until it gets through the VDC then I should be okay. I did get the Illuminated Door Sills. That should be more than enough overpriced and utterly pointless lighting bling. Maybe I'll go the aftermarket route later (angel eyes style driving lights would be cool and slightly less pointless).

Nice looking car! Love the lights! :-) Might have to get them for my car as well, makes it look more "mini" IMO

I miss Austin....

I like the lights and want to get them done. Do you know if you can have the dealer install non-OEM lights? I really think the OEM ones are overpriced for what you get but I really want some..

I've been drooling over the Prima line for awhile now. I can't wait to run out of my current supply of [un-named brand]! For some reason I cannot justify purchasing a whole new "system", when I've got plenty sitting here. :(

Once you have tried Prima you will be asking yourself, "why did I wait to use up my old stuff?" (Or at least that is what I did).

looking good.

even if you dont give epic a try right away, one should still try hydro, slick, nero, and clarity.

Looks great! I did the same this weekend, but then it rained. Going to have to wash again tomorrow, I suppose.

And if you really want to dump off your old "insert-brand-here" supplies, you might try offloading it on the Marketplace. I listed a bunch of detailing stuff that I was no longer using last spring and people snapped it right up! Then you can start all over
