Bug Death

I thought it would be fun to have a thread where everyone can post their bug guts!
call me crazy but I thought this was impressive and I'm sure someone has me beat so I'm throwing down the gauntlet

From our recent trip from AZ to NC (the Dragon)

Great idea for a thread Em. It could have a sub title like "The Squash Before Wash" thread.

OK, I DO feel silly now. Think before you post, think before you post...

It's still a lot of bugs, though.

Emily, do you want this thread here in OT or over in Detailing 101, where the OCDetailers will go nuts?!

You'd put them in to ‘car’diac arrest?

You sure those aren't just glittery bugs ? Maybe they were on their way to Vegas or Hollywood, or somewhere where glittery bugs are needed ?!!

I hit a moth the size of a hummingbird on the way to work Monday. Of course all I had to show for it was a ginormous smear on my windshield so it wouldn't have made a very exciting picture

Ewww, that reminds me, I got some large weird looking long legged bug caught in my wiper. It was trying to get out while I was driving down the interstate. It was very nervewracking. I was convinced this long legged creature was going to get into my car somehow. It managed to free itself. Very disturbing.

Wow, the paint makes it hard to tell just how many bugs we are judging here. Sure looks like a heck of a lot though. Please tell me that this mess has been cleaned up and not left to bake in the sun.:impatient

I have a perfectly hideous bug-ridden piccie of Wanda somewhere! When I find it, I'll post it. She was wearing a black bra, too! What a hussy!

It looks like you've been driving through my back yard. Too many mosquitos to even go out there.

I think we picked up 1/2 the bugs in the state of Kansas on our recent trip to Colorado for MITM2 ( we picked up the other 1/2 on the way home). My husband wanted to get a picture, but I had this obsessive need to find a car wash. There was absolutely no way was I going to roll in with the guts of a million bugs splattered all over my MINI.... I guess I have crossed over to the dark side and joined the OCDetailers.... You just never see it coming

What does one say when a big bug makes a huge splatter on your windshield?
It took a lot of guts to do that!

And I'll add my own contribution (you really can't see the carnage unless you click on it):
