ACID RAIN

Never really had this problem so here goes.

Most of my outside Glass on my mini has acid rain spots on it. Mostly the front and rear window. What would it take to get it out? Whats funny is its not on the paint just the Glass.

Thanks

Why are you sure it is acid rain? Could it not be just water spots? I think I would try a good cleaner like Prima Clarity first, clay second and then a paper towel soaked in vinegar. If that failed I would move to some glass polish like Einszett or Zaino - something with some grit to it. Finally if that still did not budge the spots I would get out the Prima Swirl and my PC and give it a good go. Next stop glass replacement I guess.
I would suspect however that if it is on your glass it is on your paint. Unless of course you have a good wax on there like Prima Epic. I also use Epic on my glass.

It could just be water spots. But washing has not gotten it off. I guess if it was acid rain then it would have affected the paint instead of just the glass.
Where can I get those products you described at?

Mini44 I will try to post some more pics when I can.

www.detailersparadise.com will get you the Prima products. You can also call Heather there and talk with her. She is most helpful and is the reigning "Queen of Clean"
As for Einszett you can find it at Pelican using this link and of course Zaino products can be found at www.zainostore.com
I suspect however that the cheapest solution you will find will be to try the vinegar first. Let the paper towel sit, soaked with vinegar for up 5 or 10 minutes. If the spotting is caused by Calcium in the water this should do it.
Hope this helps. Be sure to let us know!
