Polished MINI

Just spent half of Saturday trying out the DP products that arrived...must say I am quite impressed, although my arms are quite numb from all that rubbing and polishing! Next time I'll buy an orbital polisher! Only tricky part was keeping the Epic off the vinyl...used a small, flexible squeegee used to apply bondo-worked great!
I suppose at some point in the future, I will have to clay then use Swirl to eliminate the small surface scratches (both dealer and owner induced).

Slick Cooper, now get rid of that wheel gap and lower that thing already, especially with those sharp wheels!

Hmmm...lower it eh?!?! Around here, what with all the massive potholes in our roads, that would be tantamount to self-destructing the undercarriage. I'm sure it would look "better"...at least until the first large pothole encounter! Yesterday, there was an SUV driver here in Edmonton who flew in to- and subsequently 7 feet into the air- then out of a massive 21 foot diameter sink-hole. She was lucky. Had that been the MC...well, that would have been the end of that! Of course, in an extreme case such as that, I guess it wouldn't matter if the MC was lowered or not!?!?

What vinyl are you referring to??? The vinyl stickers?? You can wax over them, no need to keep it off. Or are you calling the exterior trim as vinyl??

Sorry, yes I am calling the plastic trim "vinyl"...silly me! I actually did get some Epic on the plastic trim, but wiped it off immediately - it seemed to come off quite easily. I'm sure that would not be the case once the wax had set up (?). Just going by others opinions that it is best to keep the Epic off the plastic.

Yep, if you get Epic on the trim, wiping it off immediately won't leave it white. Actually, for the testing of my BW, I glopped it on some MINI trim, and left it for hours, and wiped it off, and still no white residue. I used a number of different waxes and left them on for days before they left any kind of white residue.
