Sell me on Zaino
Here's what I'd do:
Amigo: Polish
Epic: Wax
Hydro: (on going maintenance) Spray on wax after car washes (while the car is wet still)
*edit* Slick: Quick detailer and "bird poo" cleaner

Clarity: best damn glass cleaner in the world!
Black Wow: Exterior trim
Nero: Interior Trim and Tires
back in post#2, the poster asks about the AIO.....I think there might've been
some confusion:
Klasse makes Klasse AIO which I think is a stand alone sealant treatment.....then you can use the Klasse SG on top of that.
Zaino recently came out with their Z-AIO which is basically an optional prep for their Z-2 sealant...the Z-AIO is a cleaner and has some minor abrasive action to remove only the most superfiical of swirls and also gives a layer of polymer protection which Zaino says can be used alone but is meant to be used under their better sealant, the Z-2....but since it is mildly abrasive,I wouldn't use it on a regular basis...I did use the Z-AIO when I used a PC for the first and only time 2 months ago and seemed great and my chilli red seems deeper and richer, although that might've been due to the Z-PC swirl remover I used prior to the Z-AIO

Wow, I am the only one that votes for Zaino. Tomorrow I will be claying the car and using all those numbers to detail the car. I haven't done it in a YEAR (with the exception of washing and adding a coat 3 times over what was already on there), and the car still looks great. Spent about $85 on the starter kit and think I have enough for another 2 years.
You know, with polishes/waxes its really "all good." But, Kenchan has a real point in the beauty of simplicity. I tried the Zaino stuff a few years ago, and it is just too complex - - by the time I mixed up the "accelerator" and tried to keep all the steps in order, it all became too much. Great shine, pretty darn durable, but I get the same results using the Klasse twins. If you're the kind of person that likes to alphabetize the stuff in your kitchen pantry, you'll love Zaino. If you want to do a 2-step (3 counting claying when you have to) I think its hard to beat Klasse. And once I use up my current supply, I'm gonna try Prima. Whatever you do, prep correctly first and enjoy
Prima's products are top notch, but Zaino still wins in my book for durability, ease-of-application, and low cost.
Don't just go with a product because it's trendy. I bet Turtle Wax is a lot more trendy than prima! That's why I put everything to the test first.

Klasse AIO for me
So EZ, so effective as a polisher and cleaner, so durable, so everywhere on the car--glass, chrome, wheels, stripes, etc. I actually AIO my car now every third wash, applying/buffing out a coat only adds about 40 minutes to detailing time. I love this stuff!!

See, now this is a huge "real world" advantage!!! Seems if you want a great all-compatible comprehensive system Prima is a great choice. The only advantage I can see for Klasse is that 24 hour cure times are not called for. I know there are products designed to go with Klasse, but I've not been overwhelmed w/ these so one has to mix-and-match a bit (as has been the case w/ P21S). Not so w/ Prima it seems. In the end, the cure-time-thing, and great results keep me in the Klasse camp.
Re: Mix-and-matching Prima
Prima can often be mixed and matched with other systems to create your own unique process and/or look. Prima products get along with just about everyone else out there!
Re: Curing time of Prima and Klasse
Also, there still seems to be confusion about cure time. Cure time is the time AFTER you buff off/wipe off your wax. It is the time during which you should avoid using detergents (read: avoid washing your car). It is NOT the same thing as drying time. Drying time is the time you wait between applying wax and buffing it off.
Klasse AIO can be removed right away or can be allowed to sit before buffing off. In other words, it's drying time is flexible... zero to hours.
Klasse SG (Sealant Glaze) is very difficult to remove unless you let it dry first for at least several hours and ideally longer (some people wait a whole day). In other words, it's drying time is very long... several hours to a day.
Prima Epic should be removed 35-45 minutes after its applied for maximum durability. Longer is fine too, and recommended if you're applying it in cold temps or high humidity (longer = an hour to an hour and a half).
*If you remove it right away, you will still get approximately 80% of it's durability (this is what detailers sometimes do simply because they can't afford to wait the full drying time and the ~20% decrease in durability isn't a big deal to them anyway). In other words, it's drying time is moderate... 35-45 minutes (or up to an hour or so if temps are cold).
*In all of the above cases, (Klasse AIO, Klasse SG, Prima Epic) the curing time is about 24 hours.*
Again, during this curing time the wax has already been buffed off but you should try to avoid using detergents so you can maximize the product's durability.
Hope that helps!

Zaino is so 2005

I am a Klasse twins fan & I like to top the twins with P21S carnauba. There are also many Prima Epic fans around here
As chows said Autopia has great forums & many great care care articles.
I recommend you browse the Detailing 101 forums here on NAM for many pros, cons, & varying opinions & also check out these 2 sites:

Zaino is still my favorite. I have tried most of them and Zaino lasts longest. I can't understand why the zaino steps are confusing. It's really a lot simpler than turning on your computer, navigating to NAM, logging in, moving to your favorite thread, looking at all the other interesting new posts, ...............

I haven't used Klasse or Prima yet, but I have used Zaino. Zaino has the distinction for me of causing audible gasps from friends, family and perfect strangers about the shine on my MINI. Never had that happen before Zaino. I used Meguiars before.
Zaino is not that hard after you do for the first time. Once you understand the process it becomes easy to do the whole Zaino system. The down side is the time involved.
Having said that I didn't have any Zaino accelerator today and I used Meguiars NXT to see if the latest in that line was close to Zaino. It was close, but no cigar.
I will have try the Prima/Hydro stuff though. IF it shines like Zaino and is quicker then I may convert. - larry

Everyone can claim their wax is better. How many of them can actually show you though? For the last two days, I've seen a number of Zaino cars. One of them an M6--which I saw today on what looked like the equivalent of Astro Black. It was 8 months old and full of swirls. Shine and gloss is one thing, but how good does it really look?
To me, aside from product choice is how well you understand the system and how well you can utilize it for the best results possible.
Today I worked on this 2005 Maserati. Although I determinted Prima Swirl with a white pad removed the swirls, I still ended up using my old stand by, Meguiar's M80 on my rotary buffer for it's speed and efficiency, followed by M80 with my PC, followed by Amigo with my PC, followed by Epic. The result was a flawless finish. I put in 14 hours in this detail.
I love using Meguiar's Professional M80 polish on the rotary, using the PC with M80 for a little extra swirl removal, and then taking it all the way with Prima Amigo with the Black pad on speed 6 of the PC with a super light touch to make it flawless!
BEFORE (Hazy and swirly)

AFTER (Clear and glossy and swirl free)

Prima takes my work to a level that wasn't attainable with Meguiar's Professional products alone!

I happily used Meguiar's for a long time, as Zaino just looked too expensive to me for the incremental improvement it offered. But I kept doing multi-hour jobs on my paint with Megs, and thinking I'd really nailed it; only to find myself parked next to a Zaino job a few days later and thinking my car simply disappeared by comparison.
So, I broke down and spent the extra money for Zaino, and now my car is a little less invisible in a lot full of MINIs. Still, I've come to suspect that BRG is just never going to look as flashy as Chili Red or some of the blues and purples, no matter what I try.
All that said, as I use up my Zaino, I probably will not replace it. The level of customer service offered by DP is just too high to use anything else. The final decider, for me, has been Hydro. I spray it on after the final rinse, and with no other effort beyond drying the car, I get a shine boost that lasts for weeks.
I am, at least for now, too cheap to simply pitch all my Zaino leftovers, but I really can't wait to see what an Epic/Hydro combo will do to this car. Then again, there is the lure of a PC polisher in the distance...
So many shines, so little time...

Yeah that is true. An excellent shine will only enhance and accentuate defects in the finish. Being a MINI owner raised my level of what an excellent finish looks like because of guys like Octaneguy and others in the community. Everyone will have their preferences and a lot of these systems like Zaino, Klasse, and Prima can be used to get essentially the same results. After that it is all subjective.
I just wish octaneguy lived next door so I could just say, "hey, how can i fix this?"

It just don't get better than FREE washes
