Ok, Spoke with Katie and she will be back in town this weekend. She says her Mom is doing ok and is home finally! Glad to hear that Katie!
So the shower is still on at her place.

 

yup, I'm coming home tomorrow...er, today....and I can't wait to get home. Been a hell of a 10 days here, and I'm pooped.

Yep, pretty sure it was you then. I recognized your roof! (Of all things. ) We were heading West, waved, but nope you didn't see us. That's ok though, sometimes it's hard catch someone's attention in the opposite direction.

Will, Wendy, your baby clothes are at the post office awaiting sorting and mailing. They lady said they should be there either friday or saturday. Note to Katie - Will's are in the envelope. Wendy's are in the bag in the envelope.

 

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to make it to this... my Dad is arriving tonight on a business trip, and he isn't leaving until Sunday morning.

(for those who don't know, my family lives in Australia, and my Dad's occassional visits are the most family contact I get, except every few years when I go back there to visit)

Graduated high school there, moved back here (with the family), and have lived here ever since. My parents and little sister moved back there about 6 years ago. My parents were born and raised in Australia, and my entire extended family is Australian.

My parents will be here tomorrow as well, and they will not be leaving until mid of May.

Good thing is my dad is an exellent cook, it seems like we're going to have good meals for a while.

 

Yep, popular time of year to have people visit the DC area, it's so nice here this time of year. Have fun visiting with your folks.

 

um...I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we're going to have to make this an outing at a restaurant.
Long story short, we have a recurring mold problem behind the shelves in my bathroom. Water has leaked in via an old chimney, gotten into the insulation and started to create mold/mildew. This has happened before and we thought we'd fixed it...apparently not.:impatient The smell is back
Wendy and potential guests, I do not want to expose anyone to mold/mildew...especially Wendy in her condition.
So...let's invade a restaurant. We can still party..

 

I have been in contact with MININurse to try and work out a good location. We will post when and where as soon as we work it out.

Katie, so sorry to hear about your house, that sucks. But a good time will still be had by all.
