[Sat, Feb 3 @ 11am-2pm] Lucky Dog Garage Open House
Our trip up from Germantown is just about as fun. So much so, with the fact that it is snowing, and I STILL have my summer wheels on, we will probably be arriving in Ellie...Sorry Soulfire, but you may have to sit this one out! We shall see what it is like in the morning tho....
Que es GPS? That sounds like something those mainlanders would use.....
Kind of like the "Winter Package", something we just don't understand here, eh bruddah?
Oh...... thats right.... I'm in Maryland and its 27 degrees out.....

Well, we will see what the weather is like in the morning. Of course I want to bring Soulfire out...He always wants to see friends! I just have to convince the humans to let him out of the parking lot!
Here here for summer wheels!!

My Mini's getting stronger when its cold.
Oh yeah, it's not just going to be DCMM there. He's also invited a number of other people. Hopefully there should be some other interesting cars there. There was a rather slick (but not me) Maserati there the other day.
Hey all!! I will be withdrawling my RSVP for this event, because..... I'm sporting a 2003 all LY MINI S!!! Yes, the peer pressure kicked in at the breakfast. I was planning on attending to show-and-tell, but Paul and Sally have invited me to go for a spin in the mountains (hopefully not too snowy covered). So, I will more than likely be at the next event. I have officially ditched the SUV. New mini shall so be named: Hemingway. If I could figure out how to post photos, one would accompany this, but.. you'll just have to wait and see. Or - send me an email address and I can mail ya a pic!! :0)
I will be heading up from Fredericksburg for an VA folks. I amy drive the HEMI instead of the MINI so there is a good chance I will have plenty-o room if anyone wants to tag along. Hit me up on my cell if you want to hool up along the way 703-338-9229

Is it really up in the mountains? THe weather report doesnt look so good. Not sure if I want to take the Mini on unfamiliar roads in bad weather. Anybody up in that area who can attest to the road conditions?
The garage is not in the mountains. Its a pretty straightforward drive if I remember correctly. I think the mountains some people are referring to are a seperate drive which which has nothing to do with today events. I hope you make the trip to the Lucky Dog - its a ncie place (lots of cool toys)
I had a great time! All the folks at LDG threw down and put on a great open house. It was really nice to see a lot of new faces and I'm very grateful for the Oil Change Kit that I won!
Very Nice Shop!

I'm glad Betty got to make it to show off her tummy and say bye to everyone. It was good to see everyone.
Betty and I are setting out on our cross country trek in less than 24 hours... a bit sad, but sometimes we just have to embrace change, and we are. On her behalf I'd like to again thank everyone... And on my behalf, I'm not saying anything because I'll be back in a week.
Thanks for hosting the event John! Was a good time, and good company!
