I just checked 3 weather channels...no mention of accumulation, just flurries and bitter cold.
I still might bring the Subaru as I have summer tires on the MINI...

Her top down. Err, I mean mine, no I mean my cars.

Yes, I've got summer only tires on and don't wanna put on the all seasons, so I may brng the truck. I watch and see.

We still haven't taken off the summer wheels yet either. Don't think it is going to happen tonight either. So we will probably bring Ellie, since they are no bricks on that car.

WOW, this event might qualify for "most MINI-owners not driving their MINIs"... award or something like that? This is why you all need magnetic bonnet stripes and MINI badges

"If you can't go MINI, go counterfeit!"

Me and my salt-covered and boot-lined "utility mode" MINI will be there tonight.

I won't be there. Going east, crossed the beltway, temp dropped from 37 to 32 in an instant... It's already sticking here, and about to get colder. With the wife preggers, rush hour, wrong side of the beltway, and ice/snow... I don't think it's worth the... 45-50ish miles for dinner. Sorry all. :(

roads were dry, thank god...but my "Service Engine Soon" light came on as soon as I started my car on the TF parking lot. Must be a loose wire, cuz there seemed nothing wrong...and I'm over 1,000 from an oil change.
Anyhoo, good turnout...lots of newbies
I'm a lil deaf from Feedback shouting in my ear.. You need lessons in voice modulation, kiddo

I had a great time! It was nice meeting some new people at the dinner and for the cruise home, Maxicooper made for a great "front door" on the Herndon to Columbia run! He even passed a Maryland State Trooper chasing a SUBWAY!

Sorry about your ear....

I look forward to doing this again!

Had a great time and glad to meet all of the newbies. Edge, you have the list of the newbies right? Go ahead and activate the GPS locator and put them in the "watch" category

Great dinner meet.
Actually, I ate too much, from 2 meetings back to back at the same place. I had so much Maxican food.
Speaking of passing the trooper, couldn't resist that, they were way below my speed limit, oops...sorry, the speed limit.

It was nice cruising with Feedback back to Columbia. We should do this more often.
(Feedback, did you see the S2000 on 495?, I wish I could ........ )

Good meal, good conversation

Thanks to the organizers. Deb and I really enjoyed the food and the company.

Mark M...how about organizing a DCMM trip to the Carlisle Import Kit/Replicar Nationals in May (after the Dragon 2007)? My neighbor for dinner tonight (whose non-MINI is a Fiero with a Cadillac engine) said it's a great show, and it's less than 2 hrs from NoVA -- a day trip. Deb and I would go.

Jen and I are birds of a feather - I'm the GM of Telecom and Internet at a 2.4 Million Sq. Foot facility. If you ever want a tour...... (just wait until after the auto show and the crazy people get out of there).

Sorry I didn't make the dinner last night - after the events of the day I felt it was appropriate to hang at home with CTD (Cooper the Dog) and wallow in my lack of TV. :-)

Sounds like a great time, sorry I missed it. Just the way the snow was coming and sticking at 5pm just didn't seem good.

Next month!

To be perfectly honest, I like the Tortilla Factory, but I don't find the food to be as good as at Anita's.

Doesn't mean I won't show up for dinners there though!

I've not been to Anita's, but I'm agreement on the Clubhouse food quality - although their salsa rocks! We all need to visit Tequila Grande off of Nutley Blvd/123 in Vienna. Awesome food! Awesome fried icecream! And it's close to the beltway and I-66 (first exit).
