So is anyone doing anything??

I'm a totally new member and since I didn't have any NYE plans, thought I'd see what DCMM was up to. But I'm so confused by the different posts. Is anything organized?

Mini does Lurey Caverns

We've just come up with today's plan.
We will take our kids and go to Lurey Caverns. http://www.luraycaverns.com/
We will take some longer scenery route instead of all highways:
From Columbia 70W - 15S - 340S - 211W, we should arrive there around 12.30pm for lunch and the caverns tour. then at 3pm we will take 211E - 29E - 66E - 495N - 29N, back to Columbia.

Just got back home...
It was a fun drive. Not a lot of cars on the road at all, especially, down 340 and around Harper's Ferry area. Very smooth ride.
A short drive on 211S, from Lurey, cut across Shenondoah national park is interesting as well. Twisty road, up and down the mountain, me and my MINI love it.
