Isabelle will be arriving at Towson today to wait for me on Saturday. The steering failed this morning while going across Key Bridge. I managed to make it to the hotel, where I am waiting on a tow truck to take her up to Towson.

Anyone living in Arilngton heading up on Saturday I could catch a ride with? Michael might be off on Saturday morning, but we don't know yet.

Where are you at today? If you were on the key bridge, it sounds like your in my area (much easier for me to drop off the banner)

I think Jen means the DC Key Bridge, not the Baltimore Key Bridge.

Not sure why they would name two bridges the same thing in cities that are so close to each other.

Yes, indeed, Key Bridge in Georgetown. But Jeremy and I just talked and he is probably going to drop off the banner today at Towson and they can put it in the car for me.

It was talked about, but the banners are large and not well suited to be attached to a car that is being driven. They are made for walls or hanging on poles or being carried.

Jen,

Since I live in Annandale, not too far away... put me down as an alternate. The only reason I say alternate is that I have a network outage at my work on Friday night that might keep me there late. Depending on how late it is, I may not be able to make the breakfast at 9:30am, although I'm determined to get up there in time for the board meeting (which is after the breakfast, right?).

If someone wants a 8.5x11 laminated print out thing of the DCMM logo I have one. I've had it since the dragon, picked it up cleaning up bits and pieces from the farewell dinner.

Just send me a message and we can arrange something.

Okay. Michael does have to work on Saturday morning. So I am going to need a ride.

*le sigh*... Well, my disclaimer is in full effect... I ended up getting the 8 AM to 8 PM 'watch' on Saturday... so no breakfast for me. I'm pissed too - third weekend in a row where I have to work! Oh well, these ruined weekends should stop by next month....

Sorry guys!

So, you have your strut tower fixed yet?

Well they found a nut that was loose to the touch and i think tightend everything else down. That seemed to take care of it for a little while but now the noise is back. I hit a pot hole pretty hard a long time ago and i think that strut is finally wearing out. I think it's time to replace all the struts. But when i do that i also want to do the springs too. So saving up the $$ now.

Pulley??? All i have to say is WOW!! why didn't MINI make that standard to begin with. I't seems to make the whole thing run better. I should have givin those hamsters a smaller wheel to run on a long time ago.

Go back to the event in the calendar, it should give you the option to remove yourself (in the exact same fashion that you added yourself).

It is surmised that not including a reduction pulley and a bigger sway bar was a marketing decision. How could MINI sell Coopers if there was such a performance difference between the two models and and not a major price difference? JCW is supposed to be the official upgrade path to better performance.

I am thinking of making an appearance as well, looks there are several people coming that I havent seen in a while. Also, I want to check out some aero kits.

Im cutting back, but I just cant stay away from you crazy MINIacs.

Boy, sitting here on quarterdeck watch (military to civilian translation = front reception desk) is *so* much more fun than the breakfast... And look, only 6 more hours to go... ugh...

But I hope you all had fun!

HAHAHAA... SUCKER...
errr... I mean, too bad. Had a great time. Although the muscle I pulled (sensitive area) has made clutching a little more interesting now. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to fix itself.
