If this event is a go, let me know. I will not be able to attend this event, and therefore can't do the planning. If you guys take charge and do this, someone let me know since I see that there is interest, I will sticky this and put a RSVP up on the calendar for it. Please, whomever is deciding to organize this on our part, let me know who you are so people can contact you if there is more information.
EDIT:Feedback has been so kind to let me know that he has sent an email to the coordinators of this event...So stay tuned to see if it is a go!

I've just received an email from The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts people (the organizers) explaining that the woman who is directly in charge of this event is out until Wed. The email states that they are confident "that something can be worked out".

Please, If you have a convertible and are interested in this event, please pm me so I can have a count if she asks me on Wed.

This does not preclude other MINI's, but they usually are in need of convertible's to carry people.

Any info I receive will be passed along directly to this thread.

I don't have any more info, but feel free to pm me with questions (or post them here...)

 

Thanks for taking leadership of this event feedback. Seems like there is some strong interest, but I didn't want to set up an event I'm probably not going to make.

 

It's Wed evening at 5:00pm and I just received an email from the event coordinator for the parade. It was brief...
"We would love to have your group in the parade. Can you call me tomorrow."

So... Tomorrow morning I will call her and will let you all know whats up!

I just got off the phone with the event coordinator for the parade and she is sending me the paperwork for us to enter the parade. They think they have enough convertibles to take care of their "celebrities" but will let us know if they fall short and need more.

However, as a club, we have a spot in the parade.


We have been asked to limit it to 20 (Twenty) MINIS.

So the first 19 MINIs, other than me, to be signed up on the calendar, get a spot in the

I haven't received the paperwork yet (I'm guessing it will arrive on Monday) with the parade details, but I'm thinking the same thing. A stop in at the dealer, then off to the parade.

This is gonna be soo much fun! The 4th of July parade was great, and it was a bummer that the second parade that day was rained out. So we figure we have to make that one parade up : ) Can't wait!
