Well if you don't mind being bored for a couple of hours I have my bookclub meeting that day in Arlington and you are more than welcome to hang out with us. Christine (you met her at my house) will be there too. Heck, you can join my bookclub if you like.

I'm thinking about hitting up OG Racing and looking for some stuff like driving shoes and a helmet. Anyone is welcome to come along too...

Hey Sally, there is a festival the same day (September 16th) on Barracks Row which is where The Ugly Mug is located. After bookclub we will probably hit that up if you want to join us.

I DO enjoy reading.. I read every night before I go to sleep. What book are you reading?

That sounds like fun. What kind of festival? Maybe I'll meet you there after the breakfast.

Right now we are reading "Random Family" by Adrian Nicole LeBlanc. I would not expect for you to read/finish the book by the 16th although if you do kudos to you. We meet the 3rd Saturday of every month at 1:00 p.m. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you an invite to join the club (Heroine Addicts).

For more information regarding the festival visit Barracks Row Festival. Right now the plan is to hit the MoS breakfast, jet over to book club then head over to Barracks Row to kill some time before Burgers & Beer. You are more than welcome to join us. Just say the word.

As I posted on the other conflicting events, I likely won't be able to make it to the Ugly Mug, unless I manage to complete the course (and pass the exam) early... which HAS happened in some previous courses I've taken, so we'll see.

If I DO make it, it will be right after a long drive from PA, so a good beer will DEFINITELY be in order!

I read the first few pages online.. looks like it might be a good read
And the festival reminds me of the street festivals I went to when I lived in Brooklyn.

Depending on how long the breakfast goes, I will definately be interested in at least meeting up with you at the festival.

I just finished the book and it made me want more! Bookclub doesn't start until 1:00 p.m. so we will be a the festival around 3:30. Give me a jingle or drop me a line.

I might just show up, direct from the Pennsylvania Pocono mountains, and not having shaven for a week! I don't bother shaving when I'm at these things - I'm there to study, not groom... and I consider it a good-luck charm of sorts - I'll shave when I complete the course and pass everything. It's the "mountain man" strategy.

It all really depends on when our last exam is scheduled. If I can make it back to DC on Saturday night, I'll come to the Ugly Mug. If I can't, I can't.

And even though I'll look "rough", don't worry, I will still shower.

We will keep our eyes open for Mountain Man Edge. Good to know we won't smell you before we see you.

Not sure if this is the one, but, there is another place downtown that has good burgers called, Ollies Trolley.

Maybe we can do a bar crawl. Start at The Ugly Mug then hit some other places.
