That cake was very cool. She musta put alot of time into it, especially to make it so delicious.

Thank you for the cake compliments! It took me about 90 mins to make it that delicious. I am not too good at frosting and the sign took me a LOT longer than expected. I am very glad it was enjoyed, that makes it worth it.

Great cake!! Good stuff Sherill!!

It's too bad that more didn't make it out tonight, but I suppose that there's enough planned over the next month or so that I should be able to catch up with everyone, old and new!

It was great to see those who did make it out tonight though!

(And yeah, I'm back in town! )

Thanks!! Let's see, the MINI is slightly broke (loose tie rod - hopefully will get it fixed today), did a bunch of studying, passed everything, graduated with honors, and I'll be trying for chief next year!

I hear you got a new toy!

Had a great time last night. I just love how we intended to go home and then proceeded to spend another 2 hours talking shop on the roof of the parking garage!

The cake was so awsome! And the company was even better. My back is still a little sore, but the GOOD medicine really helped, at least I slept well (just woke up!)
Actually glad we took of when we did, I would have passed out up there if we stayed!

I'm in PA now for the training course, which starts at 8am tomorrow. As you can see, I DO have Internet access here, although I will probably only use it during breaks or in the evening. I am happy to discover that unlike the last time I was here (2 1/2 years ago), my cellphone has decent coverage too... bonus! Although, again, I'll probably have it turned off during class.

I hope everyone has a great week, and Asya, I hope your legs feel better.
Awe, thanks Edge! I wish I could say they feel better but the rain today is not helping matters. Today was one day I wished I drove an automatic.

Have a safe trip!

Had a great night last night. Thanks for everyone coming out. Katie and I should never be allowed near a pool table again. We took way too long to play a single game (of course there was quite bit of chatting during).

Big thanks to Sherill for the custom cake.
