Gee! I just hope we have Soulfire back for the parade!! She is going into Tate on the 30th and we will have a loaner till the 4th! So I may have to do some rather immaginative decorating of a loaner!!

 

Tate has a Pepper White as a loaner (already checked w/ Rick). I am going to Tate tomorrow to drop off Streghina (I am telling you guys my Little One HAS a crush for one the mechanics there - maybe Sam? ) and I'll ask about the Pepper White.

The first year in the Capitol Hill Parade we had red white and blue (which went first on the Parade followed by the Marines Band ) but last year we were missing the White, maybe you can be the White MINI...

Sorry that I won't be able to make this one. The other manager in my office has a son in Dallas whose birthday is the 5th. He is going down there on the 3rd to spend some time with him. So I will be covering the shop on the 4th.

Only good thing is that we have a nice fireworks view from the roof!

I'm not a member as of yet, but I've been lurking around and I've been considering joining. I had mentioned some of the rides you guys go on and my wife has been pretty interested too. You guys seem like a fun bunch. Then I mentioned the 7/4 parade to my wife and she really wants to go. Is it too late to join so we can join you guys for the parade?

Well, my MINI has no name. Allow me to explain in song.

Edit: So I don't hijack the thread too much, I've moved the lyrics to my song "I've been on the Dragon in a MINI with no name" to a new thread in the '06 Dragon forum.

How long did it take you to come up with all that?

 

Oh about 10 minutes. But I cheated. I found and copied the lyrics to "Horse with no name" and then just edited from there. I didn't do it from memory and modify... In thinking about it I shouldn't have 'hijacked' this thread, especially if folks start commenting and contributing improvements of their own. I'm going to move it to the Dragon area. I'll edit my message above and put in a link.

Ooh, me, me! I wanted to participate last year but had to work, and now that I won't have to work this 4th I'll be able to join in for all of the day's events.
