MINI Meet 2006 - anyone heard of this?

I saw this think on another site. Has anyone heard anything about this event? Have we been contacted? I think it is a Mini meet - as opposed to MINIs. Would they be willing to have us there too?

It's the same MME they had over July 4th weekend [July 1, 2, 3], in Dublin, Ohio. At the awards banquet, they announced it will be in Maryland next summer. Classic Minis and new MINIS were judged separately. It was a super show and should NOT be missed.

It would be wonderful if the two clubs would play together!

Sadly I've tried contacting the Capitol Mini Register a few times and never got a response back. Hopefully Paul will have better luck than I did...

I'm currently trying to figure thi all out. 1 Entrant is $90 and gets you a bunch of stuff. but what if I just want to go to the race? and the cost of the Phil Wicks school is 300.00 or is it 350.00. I want to go but I am so cunfused about what I am paying for. For 90.00 Do I get to do the rally? What is Funkana?

If someone has gone previously or knows anything morre about it can you help me or anyone else that may have the same questions I do? or I guess I could get in touch with the co-ordinators.

I went to the MME in Dublin, Ohio, last year. The meet had it's own fees, and I understand that the autocross stuff was charged at the track [someone correct me if I am wrong]. The Phil Wicks driver's academy is his school and is therefore a charge over and above what MME is doing/charging.

As for people wondering whether new MINIs or Classic Minis are being exhibited, the show is for ALL of them.
